The table contains information about your communication tracking records. This includes such information as communication type, the date and time the contact was made, and caller details.

| CommunicationLabSubmitterIdentifier | NUMERIC | The unique ID of the laboratory submitter that is associated with the communication. |
| ContactProspectivePatientIdentifier | NUMERIC | The unique ID of the prospective patient which is referenced by the communication. |
| ContactAdHocAddress | VARCHAR | Street address of ad hoc result recipient contacted |
| ContactCommunicationCarrierIdentification | VARCHAR | The unique ID of the carrier which is referenced by the communication. |
| ContactedPlaceOfServiceIdentifier | NUMERIC | This is the identifier for the Facility record of the Facility being contacted. |
| IsTwoWayCommunicationEnabled | VARCHAR | Indicates whether the communication tracking thread has been enabled for 2-way communication. "Y" indicates that responses may be received from an external vendor. "N" or null indicates that responses may not be received. |
| PhoneSystemForeignDataIdentifier | NUMERIC | Stores the phone system record that was used with this communication. |
| ContactProviderIdentification | VARCHAR | The unique ID of the provider who is referenced by the communication. |
| CommunicationThreadGroupIdentifier | VARCHAR | A unique key that is shared by any other CAL records that are related to this one. |
| CommunicationGuarantorAccountIdentifier | NUMERIC | The unique ID of the guarantor account that is associated with the communication. |
| PagerMessageSubject | VARCHAR | The subject line of a message sent to a pager. |
| CommunicationWorkerPagerNumber | VARCHAR | The pager this communication was sent to. |
| ContactWorkerIdentification | NUMERIC | The unique ID of the hospital service employee that is associated with this communication. |
| Communication | INTEGER | The type of communication category number for the communication. |
| AdHocContactFaxNumber | VARCHAR | Fax number of ad hoc result routing recipient contacted |
| CommunicationPurposeCategoryIdentifier | INTEGER | Stores a category identifier used to describe the intent of this communcation. |
| ServerResponseMessage | VARCHAR | Response from server; for email, basically a concatenation of "result" and "BadAddr" replies from ^%ZeSMTP routine. Only populated if response is something other than 220 Message Sent. For other message types, could be a similar technical message indicating success or failure. |
| CommunicationCallOutcomeCategory | INTEGER | The call outcome name category number for the communication. |
| ContactCreatedFromComputerTelephonyIntegrationIndicator | VARCHAR | Was this contact created from computer telephony integration? If not set, then this contact was not created via CTI. |

| CallerPhoneNumber | VARCHAR | Phone number for the communication. |
| ContactPharmacyIdentifier | NUMERIC | The unique ID of the pharmacy that is associated with the communication. |
| MessageRecipientPreferredLanguage | VARCHAR | The preferred language of the message recipient, if not the native language for the environment. |
| MessageSenderIdentifier | VARCHAR | Who the message was from. For emails this will be an email address. |
| ContactLoginDepartmentIdentifier | NUMERIC | The unique ID of the login department of the user who took the audited action. |
| CommunicationInstantUtcDateTime | DATETIME | The date and time of the communication, stored in UTC format. |
| CommunicationContactVendorIdentifier | VARCHAR | The unique ID of the vendor which is referenced by the communication. |
| CommunicationTrackingRecordStatus | INTEGER | The status of the Communication Tracking record. |
| ContactAdHocRecipientName | VARCHAR | Name of ad hoc result routing recipient contacted |

| CommunicationRecordCreationDate | DATETIME | The date of the communication record was created. |
| CommunicationCallerName | VARCHAR | For incoming calls, this item stores the name of the caller. For outgoing calls, it stores the name of the person who was contacted for this logged communication. |
| CommunicationRelatedHospitalAccountIdentification | NUMERIC | The hospital account related to this communication. |
| ExternalCommunicationThreadIdentifier | VARCHAR | The ID used to track a 2-way conversation thread between Epic and an external vendor. |
| CommunicationReferenceDocumentIdentification | VARCHAR | If there is a scanned document related to the communication, this field will contain the ID of the document's DCS record. |
| PhysicalOwnerCommunityIdentifier | VARCHAR | The Community ID (CID) of the instance that owns this record or line. This is only populated if you use IntraConnect. |
| CommunicationPatientIdentifier | VARCHAR | The unique ID of the patient who is referenced by the communication. |
| ContactAdHocRecipientState | VARCHAR | State or province of ad hoc result routing recipient contacted |
| OrganizationDialedPhoneNumber | VARCHAR | Stores the organization's phone number that the caller dialed. |
| ContactRepresentativeLineIdentifier | VARCHAR | This is the line identifier for the representative of the member being contacted as part of this communication. The line identifier corresponds to the coverage responsible person line identifier (MEMBER_RESP_PERSON.MEM_RESP_GUID). |
| CommunicationCommentary | VARCHAR | A comment to go with the communication. |
| CommunicationContactNetworkIdentifier | VARCHAR | The unique ID of the network which is referenced by the communication. |
| LabCallTopicCategoryIdentifier | INTEGER | The lab call topic category ID for a communication. |
| ReferenceSurveyIdentifier | NUMERIC | The unique identifier of the survey record this communication was inviting the user to take. |
| CommunicationInstantLocalTimeZone | DATETIME | The date and time of the communication, stored in the local time zone. |
| CommunicationPhoneTypeCategory | VARCHAR | The phone type category number for the communication. |
| OutgoingTextMessageSenderPhoneNumber | VARCHAR | Contains the phone the outgoing SMS was sent from (generally, the phone number controlled by the healthcare organization). |
| ContactTriggeringEventNotificationIdentifier | VARCHAR | The Event Notification record that triggered this message. |
| SurveyLaunchedIndicator | VARCHAR | Indicates whether the user that received an invitation to open a survey launched it as a result of this communication. 'Y' inidicates they did launch the survey. 'N' or NULL indicates they did not. |

| AutomaticNoticeResultCode | INTEGER | The automatic notice result for the call. This records the result of an automatic notice call in finer detail than provided by CALL_OUTCOME_C. |
| CommunicationTrackingExternalIdentifier | VARCHAR | This item stores the external identifier for this contact. This may be populated when the contact was automatically generated. |
| CommunicationInboundCommentNoteIdentifier | VARCHAR | The unique ID of the note that is associated with the lab comment. |
| TextMessageResponseStatus | INTEGER | Marks the response status of a communication created by sending a text message to a patient. |
| ContactPremiumBillingAccountIdentifier | VARCHAR | The unique ID of the premium billing account which is referenced by the communication. |
| CommunicationEndUtcTimestamp | DATETIME | The date and time of the end of communication. |
| SourceCommunicationIdentifier | VARCHAR | The unique ID of the communication record that this communication was copied from when it was moved to a different transfer center request. |
| LastUpdatedInstant | DATETIME | The instant that the communication was last updated. |
| CommunicationCallTypeCode | INTEGER | The call type category number for the communication. |
